Sparkle Spot Grooming is all about gentle, fear-free care—because every dog deserves a grooming experience that’s calm, kind, and built on trust. We work at your pet’s pace, using soothing techniques, patience, and compassion to keep stress low and tails wagging. Our goal is to build lasting relationships with the dogs we groom, so they feel safe, understood, and totally at ease.
We use high-quality, eco-friendly products and personalize every session based on your dog’s coat, skin, and comfort level. Whether it’s a quick nail trim or a full spa day, your pup will get thoughtful, loving care from start to finish.
Grooming can be scheduled on its own or added to any day care or boarding stay. No matter the service, we’ll make sure your dog goes home clean, happy, and feeling their absolute best.
Requirements
For everyone’s safety, we kindly ask that all grooming guests be up to date on Rabies, Bordetella, and Distemper vaccines.

Our Groomer
Meet Melissa, our incredibly talented and compassionate groomer at The Wag Spot. A lifelong animal lover, Melissa has been caring for pets since childhood—often taking in strays and always having a soft spot for animals with special needs. She began working at a veterinary hospital in Tennessee in 2001, providing medical baths and caring for pets in their kennel.
After earning her degree in veterinary technology, Melissa advanced to vet tech and soon discovered her true passion: grooming. She became a certified groomer through Concorde Grooming School and went on to work at a Knoxville grooming salon that was voted the city’s #1 grooming shop eight years in a row.
Now calling Ohio home, Melissa brings her skill, care, and over two decades of experience to The Wag Spot. Her gentle approach, attention to detail, and deep love for animals shine through in every groom—and we couldn’t be happier to have her on our team.

The Pawlished Pup Bath Package
A refreshing bath, blow dry, nail trim, and ear cleaning—all the basics, but everything your pup needs to look great, smell amazing, and feel their best!

HEALTHY COAT CLUB
Keep your dog looking flawless and feeling their absolute best with our bi-weekly grooming schedule package, designed specifically for breeds with more demanding coats. This four-step rotating program ensures your pup stays mat-free, healthy, and turning heads every step of the way:
- Week One : A Full Grooming package of your choice, including nails, ears, and teeth.
- Week Three : A Blow-out & Brush, Fluff and De-tangle. We’ll finish with a spritz of cologne.
- Week Five : A Bath & Conditioning Treatment with a little trim where needed.
- Week Seven : Another Blow-out & Brush, Fluff and De-tangle with a spritz of cologne.
Then? Back to the full groom!

Skunk Treatment Add-on
Our de-skunk treatment is designed to significantly reduce and neutralize skunk odor. However, full odor removal is not guaranteed, especially if your dog was sprayed directly in the face.
